How to Start a Save What's Left Chapter
dotted line

Starting a Save What's Left chapter is a fun and easy way to get others in your School, Office, or Oranization involved. And who knows, you may just make a few great friends in the process. Save What's Left is all about planning, research, working together, and engaging our peers to get involved with us.

Step 1 - Become a Save What's Left Member

dotted line

In order to operate a Save What's Left Chapter you must first be a Save What's Left Member. Follow the link below to register (It's totally FREE!)

Step 2 - Get involved in your community

dotted line

Nothing inpsires others around us like stepping up and doing something. Simply put, talk is cheap. Find a cause or activity that inspires you, and get involved.

Step 3 - Rally your peers

dotted line

Once you have committed yourself to the cause or activity you will be surprised just how easy it is to rally others to your side. Tell them about your efforts, and how they too can help. Hang posters, or pass out flyers to announce an initial meeting at your organization. Use this platform to tell engage your peers, and ask for their help.

Step 4 - Have your peer register as SWL Members

dotted line

Tell them about Save What's Left, show them this website, and have them join the team. All individuals who involve themselves with your chapter should register themselves as members.

Step 5 - Research and plan ahead

dotted line

Once you have completed your first project it's time to start thinking about your next mission. You and your chapter will need to research, plan, and commit to a community group project. There are so many things you can do. You could do something simple like a beach clean-up, or you could do something more bold like presenting methods for better waste management to your local government. Remember, what inspires you empowers you!

Step 6 - Keep growing

dotted line

Every chapter and it's leaders should continue to grow their chapter and our club by branching out within their community. Arrange to speak at your local schools, community centers, and businesses. Caring for our world begins with each of us, then spreads to our peers, our communities, and then maybe someday... the world.

Step 7 - Share what you have done with the club

dotted line

Has your chapter done some thing really cool. Then tell us about it! All members can log into the Save What's Left Community and share there thoughts, ideas, and accomplishments with eachother. Be inspiring! Be a leader!

Registered chapters can also post pictures of their accomplishments and works in progress to the Save What's Left ScrapBook. Each chapter can maintain it's own photo album to share with the rest of the club. What have you done in your community? We would love to see it!
